In search of a quick, quiet and easy get away for SN and me, we zeroed in on the Island of Capri to travel to, in the last week of December 2011. The Island situated on the south side of the Gulf of Naples in the Campania region of Italy, turned out to be the perfect quiet, romantic, small town place we had imagined it to be. With not much to do there, we spent our days walking around the quaint town, loving the old houses and narrow cobbled streets, enjoying the panoramic view of the sea and sipping coffee and wine at the small cafes and bars in the main piazza (square). A memorable trip, because it was one where we brought in our 1st anniversary :). An absolutely recommended destination for those planning a trip to Italy in the near future.
